'Tis the Season to be Grateful
'Tis the season for giving and this year we have been so very fortunate to experience an overwhelming amount of just that!
For the past several years, YAS has partnered with Pathways Members First Credit Union Grandview Branch to give the community an opportunity to make the holidays a little brighter for children in foster care at YAS by placing a tree in their lobby with names and gift requests for each foster child. This year, we have continued our partnership with the Grandview Branch and expanded to have trees up at the Pathways Gahanna and Georgesville Road Branches. Internally we have seen such generosity in our own YAS staff members as more than ever before we have had staff, their family
and friends buying holiday gifts for our foster kids. We are incredibly proud and thankful to be surrounded by such a caring and giving community. To have staff that already work so hard every day to improve the lives of children and families they work with, go the extra mile to give more - is simply awe inspiring. We are excited to see the joy on the faces of our foster kids when they receive their gifts and know that it would not be possible without the kindness of our staff, family, friends, board members and community.
